AGF Aarhus triggers buy option for Malmö FF winger Sebastian Jörgensen
Danish club AGF Aarhus has permanently signed Sebastian Jörgensen from Malmö FF after activating the buy clause in his loan agreement.

Danish club AGF Aarhus has made Sebastian Jörgensen's move permanent by exercising the purchase option in the winger's loan agreement with Malmö FF.
The 26-year-old Danish international had been on loan at AGF since summer 2025, following an earlier temporary stint at IFK Norrköping in spring 2025. Jörgensen's departure marks the end of his time with the Allsvenskan champions.
"After a successful year on loan at AGF, all parties are now satisfied that we have agreed on a permanent transfer," – Philip Berglund, speaking to [Fotbollskanalen](https://www.fotbollskanalen.se/artiklar/allsvenskan/uppgifter-arhus-koper-loss-jorgensen).
Jörgensen joined Malmö FF from Danish side Silkeborg in summer 2023 and enjoyed considerable success during his time in Sweden. The attacking midfielder helped MFF secure two Swedish championship titles and one Svenska Cupen triumph during his stint with the club.
Across his time at Malmö FF, Jörgensen made 42 competitive appearances, contributing five goals and three assists. His versatility as a wide midfielder made him a valuable squad member, though loan spells suggested he was seeking more regular playing time.
The permanent move to AGF Aarhus represents a return to familiar territory for Jörgensen, who impressed during his loan spell and clearly convinced the Danish club to make a long-term investment in his services.
